Did you see Mazda is bringing back a 1 rotor engine in its new EV as a range extender only. So the one rotor can double the range of the batteries. No load like a normal engine.

Check out something like speed bleeder valves. That way you won't have to open and close the valve all the time. It works like a one-way valve
